Spring Fling set for children

TICONDEROGA The Ticonderoga Main Street Partnership will host a Spring Fling for area students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade Saturday, March 22. The day will start with the traditional Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. at the Community Building immediately followed by the Spring Fling held upstairs in the Community Building. There will be free activities for children and an opportunity to have picture taken with the Easter Bunny. In addition to the activities at the Community Building, students will have the chance to enter an Easter egg decorating contest. Prior to the Spring Fling, children will make and decorate an Easter egg using materials of their choosing. The decorated eggs will be turned in the day of the Easter egg hunt for judging. Prizes will be awarded at 11:30 a.m. for the most original, best use of materials and best representation of Ticonderoga spirit in three classes pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, grades 1 and 2 and grades 3 and 4. For more information about the Spring Fling or the egg decorating contest, contact Kristi Mars at 585-6366.
