NEW HAVEN On June 20, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Shawn Johnson, age 38, of South Burlington, was stopped on Route 7 in New Haven by Vermont State Police Senior Trooper Joseph Pregent for traveling 56 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. Johnson was later taken into custody without incident for driving with a criminally suspended license and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks. Johnson was later released on a citation to appear in Addison District Court July 28.
