NORTH CREEK As summer approaches, the Town of Johnsburg Library invites you to stop in to check out some of our new books and DVDs or attend some of our summer programs. Available new fiction books include Plague of Doves by Louise Erdrich, Sail by James Patterson, Twenty Wishes by Debbie Macomber, and The Race by Richard North Patterson. Audition by Barbara Walters, The Man Who Loved China by Simon Winchester, and Cant Remember What I Forgot by SueHalpern highlight some of our new non-fiction books. New DVDs include John Adams, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, The Other Boleyn Girl, and The Bucket List. Our summer programs will take place on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and include: July 9 Bernadette Hoffman Wildlife Education July 16 TBA July 23 Melvin the Magnificent July 30 Karen Ellsworth, storyteller August 6 Pat Donohue and Mr. Bean clown show Rosemary Miner, a local author, will discuss her new book, Lies and Logs to Die For, on July 10 at 7 p.m. Another local author, Ruth Mary Lamb, will give a presentation on her new book, At the End of the Road, on July 24 at 7 p.m. The ever-popular childrens story hour continues at the library on Fridays from 10-11 a.m., with age appropriate books, songs, and crafts. We encourage you to utilize and enjoy your library.
