Mountains in Motion present recital

SARANAC LAKE The Mountains in Motion Dance Project will present its fifth annual spring recital, Dancing Through the Decades, Saturday, June 14 at the Saranac Lake High School auditorium. The Tupper Lake dancers will perform at 2 p.m. and the Saranac Lake dancers will perform at 6 p.m. With instruction and choreography by Melissa Posthauer who has a BFA in Dance and is a certified Kripalu Danskinetics Instructor the more than 250 students from the two towns will perform to some of the greatest tunes from the past several decades. Posthauers choreography has been featured in the Saranac Lake High School productions of Guys & Dolls, Carousel, Oklahoma, Les Miserables, and Music Man. The Mountains in Motion students range in age from three years old to adult and perform in a variety of genres including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, creative movement, yoga dance, and hip hop.
