Copper wire stolen

CHARLOTTE On May 27, Vermont State Police responded to a theft of copper wire from the power sub-station construction site on Ferry Road in Charlotte. It was determined that several thousand dollars worth of copper had been stolen from the site along with a few power tools. According to NBC-TV News, since April 2005 the price of copper pipe and tubing has risen nearly 71 percent. Thieves steal it and resell it. Anyone with information should contact Sr. Trp.
