Alice Wand to demonatrate paper-making

ELIZABETHTOWN The Adirondack History Center Museum will be holding a paper making workshop on August 2 from 2-4 p.m. The workshop accompanies the 2008 exhibition, Assemblage & Design: The Landscapes of Alice Wand. Distinguished artist Alice Wand will lead this hands-on workshop on abaca fiber paper making. She will demonstrate how she creates heavily textured surfaces and explain the process for creating paper to workshop attendees.There is no fee for the workshop, but donations are accepted. Please call 873-6466 to make a reservation. The Adirondack history center museum is located at 7590 Court Street in Elizabethtown.
