RUTLAND The Rutland Recreation and Parks Departments summer sports camps are underway. Its not too late to get your kids involved. Summer Hoops Explosion for grades 5-8 mornings through Aug. 7, $75. Summer Tennis Explosion for ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14 mornings from through Aug. 7, $75, Track Camp, ages 6-14, through July 26, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 4-5:30 p.m., $90. Tenney Brook Day Camp, ages 3-5, 8:30-11:30 a.m., $60 per week Sessions run through Aug. 15 at Dana Rec Center Rutland. Outdoor Expeditions Camp, grades 6-9, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., $125 per week session. Sessions end Aug. 10. Meadow Street Camp (new), ages 6-12, noon-5 p.m., at Meadow Street Park; $10 per day, $25 per week. Offering nine week-long programs. Swim lessons at Whites Pool for ages 6 months - 18. Session II through July 18. Session 3: July 21-Aug. 1.
