WOW!! The very cold weather sure moved in this past week. We have ice conditions once again, but there is still warnings out that people should treat ice conditions with great caution when ice fishing or with snowmobiles. I need to make a correction from last weeks news. The new baby of Michael & Kristin Doyle, Brianna Kristin Doyle was a Christmas Eve Baby born on 12/24/07, sorry. We are very appreciative and proud of both the men and women of our community that serve in the military. We are sending another of our young men, Calvin Cumm, off to Afghanistan for the next year. We ask that you keep him and his family in our prayers for a safe return, along with all the others that are presently serving. The Willsboro Congregational church members had the pleasure of meeting a new possible candidate to serve as their future pastor, we wish them well. The committee met recently to select this coming years new candidates for the Willsboro School Wall of Distinction. The committee would like to encourage people to submit more possible applicants for consideration in the years ahead. Please let us know so that they can go into the future file of candidates, for more information contact the school or give me a call. My family got together recently to celebrate a family members birthday, there we also learned that my son James Allen recently received a promotion. He has moved up to the position of becoming the Director of operations for the Governors Traffic Safety Committee. He works in the Albany Capital area, and we are very proud of his accomplishments. North Wind Tours, led by Frank Walls, has announced an upcoming trip. This will be a 4 day trip to Philadelphia & Longwood Gardens, from June 11 to 14. Our new Supervisor has announced several vacancies in the running of the Town Government, some paid and others voluntary.
