WEVERTOWN On Dec. 17 the Outreach Center had a special Christmas Party for all of the Volunteers that help keep this center going all year long. At this Party the Center honored Bill Thomas for all his years of service to the Community and the Outreach Center. Bill was supervisor of the Town Of Johnsburg when the Outreach Center was in its formative years. He was very instrumental in making the dream happen. Mary Moro commented that she thought that it was such a far fetched idea to be able to have a center that would house a thrift shop , food pantry and also be a community location for other social services. "The idea was mind boggling" Community outreach has always been very important to Bill and his positive attitude and help was invaluable. The folks at Outreach Center thank him and hope that he is enjoying his well deserved retirement.
