Holiday campaign a success

To the Editor: The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign was successful again this past Christmas. We raised over 7 percent more than we did in 2006. I would like to thank everyone responsible for another wonderful year. Thank you to the Wal-Mart Supercenter and the Ticonderoga Federal Credit union for allowing kettles to be set up at your locations. Thank you to the Times of Ti for publishing an article about our efforts. Thank you to everyone who gave us food, coffee and hot chocolate. Thank you to all the people who donated money to the kettles. Its all greatly appreciated.
