Reber

Heard that one of Ethel Doyle's granddaughters fell and broke both wrists. So sorry. Ella is up in Maine to help out. Glad to hear that Gretchen Boardman is doing very well now after all her problems. Also, Larry Brown, who had heart surgery last week is doing well. Isn't it wonderful what doctors can do now! Rev. David Smith was with his mom during last week as she was having tests done. Sounds like it was good news and she shouldn't need open heart surgery. That's always good news. Karen Brinckmann, who waits on old ladies, like me, has been having a nasty bug bothering her. Do hope she gets rid of it soon. Richard Brinckmann had an appointment in Plattsburgh that snowy day this week. The weather is a little more like January at least the ground is covered with white which brightens the world even with no sunshine. Marion Clark is always busy cooking or cleaning or some such. She keeps me supplied with what I call "healthy" cookies. They are so good! The Whallonsburg Grange meeting has been postponed until February. I never seem to be able to reach anyone in Reber these days. Probably call at the wrong time. Remember that your fondest memories will almost always be of the things you've done for others. Have a good week!
