Holiday stockings delivered

TICONDEROGA An annual tradition, the Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union holds a drawing for a giant holiday stocking in each of their offices during December. Chosen from hundreds of entries on Dec. 21, two young ladies won this years toy-filled prizes. Samantha Beverage, who won the Port Henry branch drawing, exclaimed, Thats the most presents I ever had! And, when the staff at the Ticonderoga office presented Allie Fuller with her stocking, she had just one question: Do you still have more gifts for somebody else? Assured that all of the children were given an equal chance to win, she happily helped her mother carry her stocking home. The Ticonderoga Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1954 as the International Paper Ticonderoga Mills employee credit union. Since then, it has amended its charter twice, and now provides services to persons who live, work, worship or attend school in, or businesses or legal entities located in Essex County, Washington County or in the Towns of Hague, Horicon and Chester.
