WARRENSBURG Champlain Stone, Ltd. announces recent staff additions to its corporate headquarters in Warrensburg. Nancy Barrett joins Champlain Stone as its new human resource assistant, bringing over 12 years of experience in employee benefits, personnel policies and procedure programs. Barrett earned her associates degree in business management and economics from Empire State College, and was most recently employed in the human resource department at CWI, Inc. Barrett resides in Lake George with her husband and son. Lisa Dester of Queensbury fills a new position at Champlain Stone as assistant controller. Dester is a graduate of Adelphi University earning bachelors degrees in both business management and psychology, and was employed for several years as a payroll administer and planner for a box manufacturing company on Long Island. Dester later earned her bachelors degree in Accounting from SUNY at Old Westbury and spent time volunteering at an animal shelter on Long Island. Elizabeth Bello and Ashley Olesky have both recently joined the sales and marketing team at Champlain Stone. Bello is 2005 graduate of the University at Albany where she earned her B.S. in Geology. Bello most recently was employed at a local landscaping company and resides in Queensbury. Olesky, formerly a bank teller at TD Banknorth, is a 2007 graduate of SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Marketing. She is a member of the local chapter of the American Marketing Association and resides in Queensbury. Jennifer Farrell and Scott Ryerson are newcomers to the Project Development Group assisting architects, contractors and homeowners in designing with natural stone. Farrell, originally from Fort Ann, attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vt. earning a B.S. in public relations and communications. Farrell was formerly an accounting supervisor for imagedog media, a multi-media firm in Manhattan. She returned to the area as finance director and later Vice President of American Paintball Supply, LLC. Farrell is stationed at the companys newly opened Retail Sales Center and Stone Boutique in Queensbury and resides with her family in South Glens Falls. Ryerson is a graduate of the University of Nevada in Reno holding a bachelors degree in communications with a minor in journalism and brings to Champlain Stone construction and masonry experience gained while employed at Sartorial Masonry in Reno. Ryerson was most recently employed in sales and marketing, and as special event coordinator for Bells Beach Tanning Company in both Los Angeles and New York, and now resides in Saratoga.
