Westport native to appear on David Letterman

WADHAMS A graduate of Westport Central School will be one of the first acts when the Late Show with David Letterman returns after months off-air due to the Hollywood writers strike. On Tuesday, Jan. 8, MGMT (pronounced management) will be the musical act. The group is comprised of Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser. Goldwasser is a 2001 graduate of Westport Central School, and the son of David Goldwasser and Rachel Hunter of Wadhams. The duo was named to Rolling Stone Magazines 10 groups to watch for 2008. MGMTs first CD, Oracular Spectacular, hits the streets on Jan. 22.
