North Creek Rotary to host International Dinner

NORTH CREEK The North Creek Rotary Club will host its annual International Dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19 at Wevertown Community Center. The menu will consist of baked ziti, salad, bread, dessert and coffee. Wine will be available for an additional $2 donation. Donation for the dinner is $7 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 11. Those 4 and younger may eat for free. The dinner will be followed that evening by Our Town Theatre Groups foreign movie Frankie to be shown at 7:30 p.m. at Tannery Pond Community Center. Suggested donation for the movie is $5. The Rotary dinner is an annual fundraiser used to support Rotarys international humanitarian efforts. This year, the funds raised will be part of a multi-club effort to provide water buffaloes to needy families in war-ravaged Afghanistan. The International Dinner is but one fund-raising effort of the North Creek Rotary, which annually contributes to several local charities.
