Hopefully if you have a special person in your life you treated them well on Valentines Day. We should also remember our veterans in some special way, due to their military service. We live in a free country because they served. Did you ever think of placing a brick with their name on it on the memory wall at the new Visitors Center? Application for these bricks are available at the Town Hall or the Visitors Center. Speaking of the Visitors Center we are looking for volunteers to be on duty for half day sessions especially during the spring, summer,& fall months. If interested leave your name with Lori Lincoln Spooner. We welcome the Boquet River Association staff as they are moving into the office section of the Visitors Center. I had a most enjoyable visit this past week with Gretchen Boardman and Florence Hoskins, they both are doing well, both have been mostly house bound due to illness this winter. Special note to retired/senior citizens. it has come to my attention that many of you no longer have to file for income tax reports, there is a report that it is very important this year to file anyway so that you will be considered for the new government rebate being handed out soon. Best you check into it. Birthday Greetings to Bill Rowland 2/17, Lorena Hanna 2/23, John Sayward 2/23, Mae Mero 2/23, Sandy Delaney 2/25/ Lauren Page 2/26, Sherman Randall 2/26. Lyle Mason 2/27, Rolland Mitchell 2/18.
