Rev. Tamlyn to speak at Humor Conference

SILVER BAY The Rev. Bruce Tamlyn will speak at the 52nd annual international conference of The Humor Project, Inc. The conference will be held June 20-22 at the Silver Bay Conference Center. Tamlyn, director of Spiritual Life at Silver Bay YMCA of the Adirondacks, is the founder and director of the Leadership for Life training and development company. He has led workshops on personality style, leadership, coaching, team building and strategic planning for 20 years. At the Humor Project conference Tamlyn will present Going in (Personality) Style with Emotional Intelligence: Are We Funny People or What! He will also present an ecumenical service titled Service With a Smile: To Keep the Faith, Keep Your Sense of Humor. The Humor Project conference, the largest of its kind in the world, will titled The Positive Power of Humor & Creativity. The conference is designed to take a light look at the serious implications and practical applications of humor, hope, healing and creativity in business, health care, education, government, non-profit organizations, family and other settings. Joining Tamlyn as a speaker will be Lucie Arnaz, daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, who will accept a Laughtime Achievement Award on behalf of her parents.
