Foundation gives literacy grant

TICONDEROGA The International Paper Foundation, through its Ticonderoga mill, has awarded $995 grant to Literacy Volunteers of Essex/Franklin Counties to upgrade its newsletter, the North Country Literacy News. With this grant, said Literacy Volunteers Director Chuck Gibson, we will be able to continue and refine our professional presentation to the public. We are very glad to be able to partner with International Paper to tell our story. Any one interested in becoming a Literacy Volunteer, should call 942-7607.
