NORTH CREEK Johnsburg High School racers were joined at Gore Mountain on Feb. 12, by Albany Academy, Schylerville, Shenendohowa, Johnstown, Niskayuna, Burnt Hills, Lake George, Glens Falls, Queensbury, Gloversville/Mayfield, Saratoga, Holy Names, Stillwater, and Catskill. The Giant Slalom race consisted of 275 vertical meters, with 38 gated turns. The Slalom race was 100 vertical meters, with 43 turns. Both races were held on the Twister trail. Twister and Gore Mountain are the perfect race venue for the High School Sectionals, Steve Jackson, Section 2 High School Chairperson, said.
