New director of physical therapy hired at ATCNRC

NORTH CREEK There is a new face at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Creek. Its Dr. Sarah Deane, Director of Physical Therapy. Dr. Deane joined ATCNRC in late November. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College. We are thrilled to have Sarah on board, says Administrator David Lovelace. She is wonderful with the residents and has an excellent rapport with the staff. In addition to providing physical therapy treatments, Dr. Deane also spends time educating staff on ergonomics and residents family members on how to help with PT exercises, etc. ATCNRC provides both in-patient and out-patient physical therapy and is the only facility in the region to offer these services. We have a very active out-patient rehabilitation center, says Dr. Deane. ABOUT Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center ATCNRC is a non-profit corporation with 82 skilled nursing beds, an adult day care program, and outpatient rehabilitation services. The Center is fully licensed by New York State and certified to provide care under Medicare and Medicaid. It has consistently enjoyed high ratings in the unannounced surveys by the New York State Department of Health.
