Jessica Potter scored 10 points for the Panthers, who closed the game with a 22-9 run to secure the win. Seton 47, Ticonderoga 31 Seton Catholic grabbed an early early and beat Ticonderoga, 47-31, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball action Jan. 24. The Knights raced to a 17-8 advantage and led at the intermission, 29-10. Julie Thompson scored 10 points for Ti. AVCS 49, Moriah 27 Moriah lost to AuSable Valley, 49-27, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball action Jan. 24. Moriah led after one quarter, but AVCS took control with a 17-5 run late in the first half. Kaylee Sprague scored 14 points for Moriah. Schroon Lake 55, North Warren 31 Schroon Lake ripped North Warren, 55-31, in non-league girls basketball play Jan. 28. The Wildcats raced to a 16-4 lead and were on top, 29-13, at the intermission. Savannah Clark and Ashley Whitty each had 14 points for the winners. Plattsburgh 50, Ticonderoga 40 Plattsburgh beat Ticonderoga, 50-40, in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball action Jan. 29. The Hornets used a 17-8 run to open the second half to break open a close game. Juliann Mandy scored 14 points for Ti.
