Town of Plattsburgh offering fun-filled winter break

Defayette explained Jim Agnew and his son, Brandon, will be providing the instruction for the archery class.

"They helped us out with our summer archery program this past summer and did a wonderful job," she said.

As for the other events, associates from the recreation department will be on hand as chaperones and to help out.

However, Defayette said parents are welcome to stay as well.

"Most of the activities offered over the winter breaks are family activities, so we hope the parents stay and enjoy along with their children," she said.

If interested in any of the events and would like to pre-register, or for further information, call the recreation department at 562-6860.

"I think we've done a great job of offering a wide variety of affordable activities for families of all types," said Defayette. "I hope to see many smiling faces participating in at least one of the programs."
