The membership is available from Dec. 1 through March 31 and includes access to the fitness center, hiking trails, library, snow shoes, sledding, special events, spiritual life programs and ice fishing access off Slim Point.

A monthly schedule of hours and events - the Silver Bay Breeze - will be available online at www.silverbay.org.

The Fitness Center includes elliptical trainers, stairmasters, treadmills, recumbent bikes, Cybex weight equipment and free weights.

Hiking on trails cover more than 600 acres on campus and are also perfect for snowshoeing in winter. Trail maps are available at the front desk.

The Silver Bay Library operates on the honor system and houses thousands of books on the ground floor of the inn.

People can borrow a pair of snow shoes (credit card imprint required) and explore the campus.

Several hills on campus are ideal for sledding and sleds are stocked on the front porch of the Inn.

Special events include the monthly Dinner & A Movie, held the second Friday of each month. A donation of $5 is suggested to cover the cost of pizza and soda for the evening.

Regular events hosted by the Spiritual Life Center include a reading group, discussion group, prayer and meditation, and a monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast.
