ACNA holding silent auction

LAKE PLACID - Through the wonderful generosity of Adirondack artists, the Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks is thankful to have a variety of artwork available for gift giving from their Silent Auction.

The artwork is available for viewing and bidding at the Arts Council Office in Westport, NY. There is a wide selection of professional watercolors, photographs, and prints as well as some three-dimensional pieces. The artwork has been donated by regional Adirondack artists to help in fundraising efforts for the Arts Council - a nonprofit arts service organization.

A selection of CDs and tapes by Adirondack musicians is also available. Stop by the office at 6 Champlain Avenue in Westport to cast your bids and/or purchase music. Please call first for times and dates to stop in. All who come into the office and place a bid will receive a free box of note cards created by regional art students. Additional boxes are available for purchase.

The Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks Silent Auction is a wonderful way to help support the Arts in our region. It offers family and friends a most cherished gift of fine art created in the Adirondacks by Adirondack artists. Call the Council at 962-8778 for more information.
