Ferrisburgh bikers contribute to Meals on Wheels

FERRISBURGH - Members of Chapter 4 of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club recently sold raffle tickets for a turkey and a ham. The tickets were sold to benefit the Meals on Wheels Program. Special thanks were given to the Palmer family, Misty Knoll Farm of New Haven, and the Cutting family of Dakin Farms in Ferris burgh.

Red Knights is an international club for members of the fire service, and their families, who enjoy riding motorcycles. Membership is open to firefighters, active or retired, volunteer, or industrial, who have access to a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle drivers license. Spouses, members' children, boy-girlfriends and brothers-sisters are also welcome as social members.

Chapter 4 is the newest chapter in Vermont. President Mike Coyle thanked the members of RKMC Vermont Chapter 4 for "pulling all of this together in a month's time."
