Feliz Navidad!

RUTLAND - Singer-songwriter Jos Feliciano is coming to the Paramount Theatre in Rutland Dec. 18. The Rutland concert will be among the final 2008 live performances by Feliciano until next year.

Feliciano has much to rejoice about this year: winning the Latin Grammy Award for "Best Contemporary Tropical Album", exploring the music of Mexico with the release of new album "Con M xico en el Coraz n," celebrating the 40th Anniversary of his landmark world series performance of The Star Spangled BanneR and of course being asked to perform for over 60,000 people (and millions of T.V. viewers) at Pope Benedict XVI's Papal Mass at Yankee Stadium.

Now, 'the world's greatest living guitarist' is ready to visit Vermont during the holiday season for which he has become synonymous.

As the composer and voice of "Feliz Navidad" (which according to some sources gets more radio play than any other Christmas song in the country), Feliciano is the creator of the world's most recognized bi-cultural Christmas anthem, and the song that now receives the most holiday airplay in the United States (when combined across English and Spanish radio).

Feliciano will also appear On ABC-T.V.'s Dec. 25 broadcast of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade.
