Town seeks forensic audit of its finances

Several employees of the comptroller's Office had been in the town office over the summer, analyzing the town's finances, and some issues and discrepancies were uncovered but the town is still waiting to hear about the findings.

Keller said she hopes the Comptroller's office will share the information with them soon, plus help with an audit to get the town back on track financially.

In other business, the town board members voted to hire Andy Knoll to solve upgrade computer hardware and solve computer software problems that town officials have been encountering.

The town needs compatible, networked computer equipment in all the town offices with a central server, Keller said.
