Summer season winding down

SARANAC LAKE Pendragon Theatres summer repertory season ends in three weeks. Therefore, there are limited opportunities left to see: a double comedy, The Real Inspector Hound and Black Comedy; a psychological thriller, Night Must Fall; a tender comedy-drama, Welcome Home, Jenny Sutter; and Alices Adventures in Wonderland, a magical adventure for all ages. In addition to the final performances of the summer repertory, the ever popular cabarets return for two Sunday nights performances: Aug. 24 and 31. A Yellow Ribbon is a lively, provocative and at times ribald tribute to the men and women whove served our country. Featured in the cabaret are: Jason Brill, Laura Jean Schwartau, Sam Shaw, Matt Sorensen, Emery, Silas and Whitter Swanson, Meg Watson, Kim Weems. Kathy Cross is the accompanist. Kent Streed directs. The evenings begin at 9 p.m and offer cabaret seating as well as refreshments. There are still pay what you can performances available for the double bill, Night and Sutter. Single ticket prices are: $20/adults, $16/senior and $10 for 17 and under. Matinee seats are $12. A Yellow Ribbon tickets are $10. Tickets for Alice are $10 for over 15 and $8 for anyone under 17. Please note: unlike the rest of Pendragon's summer productions, reservations will not be taken for Alice, as seating is general admission. There are a variety of subscription offerings available as well.
