Owner apologizes for parking problems

To the editor: I would like to sincerly apologize to everyone who had trouble parking in my store's parking lot on Saturday, August 2, 2008. It was recently brought to my attention that many people who were actually shopping at my store were offended and I need to clarify that I had nothing to do with it. I was both unaware and out of town when this happened. I have since spoken with the property manager who told me that there have been some parking issues with the Lachute lot and it was done with only the best of intentions to try to safely control the flow of traffic in this lot. I would not expect anyone who shops in my store to be required to park anywhere else. I also understand that many people visited both my shop and Two Brothers & again, I do not expect people to have to move their vehicle to walk across the street. I have voiced my concerns about the negative affect that this has had on my business and I truly hope that if there are any more issues, that you would call me right away.
