Class Advisor thanks community

To the editor: On behalf of the Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School Class of 2010, I would like to thank everyone who supported their fundraiser on E-town Day, July 19. The dunking booth, ice cream and balloon sales were a success. We would like to extend a very special thank you to Mr. Osborne, ELCS Principal, for his willingness to take a turn, an hour and fifteen minutes to be exact, in the dunking booth. Thank you also to all the parents who work before during and after to pull this event together to make it such a success. Special thanks to Leta and Jeff Pierce, who organized the event and Jeff and Jill Drummond, who retrieved and set up the dunking booth. Also, on behalf of the Class of 2010, I would like to thank everyone who supported their second annual car wash/bottle drive/bake sale fundraiser on June 9. The weather was great, the class participation was outstanding and the event was a huge success. We wish to thank Mrs. Else, Mr. Wrisley and ELCS for the use of the school and equipment. Thank you to all the parents who helped with baked goods, supplied the class with cars and bottles and helped supervise the event. We also want to extend a special thank you to Leta and Jeff Pierce who, again this year, took on the huge task of turning in the collected bottles. Thank you. Kathy Gregoire, Co-Class Advisor
