Ski Bowl Cafe is now open. Stop in and enjoy a cup of coffee and a bagel. Nancy Morgan and Harry Call visited family over the weekend. They saw Dick Virgil, Nancys Dad, and family. Also Mavis her Mom and sister Joyce and Mark. They enjoyed cake and ice cream for her birthday while in town. Aaron Conlon was guest of honor for his 10th birthday party Friday night. Many of his family were there. He enjoyed flying his new remote controlled helicopter. On August 2, Andrew Cleveland hosted a birthday party for his daughter, Dezore Clevelands 11th birthday party. She was the host of 45 guests. Dezore was greeted with a bounce around castle from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Children had a real good time. Dezore was the recipient of many wonderful gifts. She gave her Dad a big hug and thanked him for such a special day. Ron and Kathy Allen celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary at Minerva Beach with a lot of family and friends. There were posters and games about the year 1968. Lots of good food and fellowship. A beautiful cake with the happy couples picture on it. Nice gifts and cards. Patty Roberts, Eileen and Marg Cummings and Lucy enjoyed a weeks vacation with other family in Maine for a week. Allens Engine show is soon to be in Bakers Mills. The dates are August 15 and 16. Good food and plenty of camping space. Dezore Cleveland was given a birthday party on Sunday by her Mom. Many guest enjoyed the picnic. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and the horses. Ben Miller and Bruce Dunkley are in New Jersey to see Bens son, John who is very ill. Michelle Allen is doing better from her accident on Goodman Rd. but still has aches and pains. TJ and Sheridan Millington enjoyed the weekend with their mom. Keep praying for our nation and the upcoming election. Shanna Schott is here to spend a few days with her mother, Linda Whitney Happy Birthday to: Randy Schott Jr, Dezore Cleveland, Kenneth Allen Sr, Corey Ouellette, Neil Dunkley Jr, Kim Smith, Randy Heath.
