County youth bueau schedules youth soccer referee certification clinics

The Clinton County Youth Bureau Soccer Program is in need of referees for its upcoming season which runs from Sept. 13 to Oct. 25. General knowledge of the rules, playing experience, and experience working with children desired. The pay is $18 to 25$ per game. Referees will be hired to officiate games at the Mites, Pee Wee, and Bantam levels. Applicants must be 14 years of age or older and must attend one clinic. Soccer referee clinics are as follows: Monday, Aug. 18 from 1-4 p.m. at Keeseville Elementary School; Tuesday, Aug. 19 from 1-4 p.m. at Chazy Central School; Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 6-9 p.m. at the Clinton County Youth Bureau, second floor; Monday Aug. 25 from 6-9 p.m. at the Clinton County Youth Bureau, second floor; Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 1-4 p.m. at the Mooers Town Hall; and Wednesday, Aug. 27 from 1-4 p.m. at the Town of Plattsburgh offices. Applicants must bring all of the following: Working papers if applicant is 17 years of age or under; social security card or birth certificate; and a picture I.D., drivers license or school report card.
