BURLINGTON On July 19, at approximately 1:15 p.m., the Chittenden County Correctional Center contacted Vermont State Police about an active arrest warrant for Sherry L. Bushey, age 47, of Burlington, a visitor to the correctional center. Bushey was visiting her son who is currently jailed. Bushey had a warrant issued in August 2006 for Welfare fraud and False pretense. She was taken into custody and walked around to the back of the jail and booked in. Bail was set at $5,000.
