SHELBURNE The Champlain Valley Agency on Aging is holding its Annual Top Chef of the Champlain Valley event to benefit CVAAs Meals on Wheels and Case Management Programs. Dont miss this gourmet tasting as David Hoene of Paulines Cafe, Connie Jacob Warden of Chow Bella and Sam Palmisano of Pulcinellas compete to prove they have what it takes to be the Top Chef of the Champlain Valley. With the rising cost of food and fuel this fundraiser is important to CVAA and the seniors we serve. Over 300,000 meals will be served next year. Enjoy watching the competition, a gourmet tasting, a free wine and beer tasting, live music by Trinity, and a silent auction (including weekend getaways, items for your gourmet kitchen, cooking lessons, and autographed celebrity cookbooks including one from Paula Deen). The top chef of the Champlain Valley will be featuring local culinary talents and use local food products. Sean Buchanan, executive chef for the Stowe Mountain Lodge will emcee and celebrity judges include Jozef Harrewyn of Chefs Corner among others.
