ORWELL On April 15, Vermont State Police troopers responded to a report of an assault at 57 Sanford Rd. in Orwell. An ongoing property dispute between the victim, Peter Ochs, age 68, and the accused, Janet Currie, age 43, escalated resulting in the accused snatching a camera away from the victim while he was taking a picture. When the camera was grabbed Ochs was struck in the face. Currie was charged with Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
