Indian Lake seeks parade grand marshals

INDIAN LAKE Everyone loves a parade, and the Indian Lake Sesquicentennial Committee is looking for participants. This years theme will be: Remember When, and we want to honor the citizens in Indian Lake, Blue Mt. Lake and Sabael that can remember when by making them part of the festivities. If you are over the age of 85 and what to share your time with us we would be honored to have you. We want these members of our community to be the grand marshals of the Sesquicentennial Parade on August 8, 2008 at 7 p.m. This parade will be the kick-off for the main celebration weekend. You will have the opportunity as one of the elite citizens of the community to ride in the parade or to sit in the reviewing stand. If you want to participate, contact Vonnie Liddle at (518) 648-5828 or Anita Kopff at (518) 648-5523. Also if you or your organization would like to participate with a float, antique car, music, etc. let us know.
