New Leicester town officers start terms

Leicester Town Clerk Kylee Rochon has set new hours for the towns office. Her office will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays, other times by appointment. Austin Johnson has been appointed tree warden, John Quelch is cemetery sexton and energy coordinator. Richard Reed is the town representative to Addison County Solid Waste District. Dave Todd was appointed inspector of lumber and Kathy Eastwood is deputy town health officer and town services manager. Selectboard meetings, held first and third Monday each month, begin at 6:30 p.m. The Leicester Historical Society is sponsoring Prize Bingo on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. at the Leicester Senior Center. Reservations are being taken for spaces/tables for the July 12 Flea Market/Bake Sale, being held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Four Corners. Call Diane Benware at 247-3786 evenings for details.
