On Sunday, Sept. 30, the senior class Newcomb Central School is sponsoring an Alumni soccer game. One of the teams will consist of the current varsity members of the girls and boys teams. We are attempting to create two additional teams. One team will be members of the Newcomb Huskies Marcy Conference. If you were a member of the Newcomb Huskies, we need you to play. In other words, if you graduated in 1987 or earlier, you were a member of the Huskies! The other team will consist of Newcomb alumni who graduated in 1988 or later. We are looking for men and women alike.
The first game will begin at 1p.m. between the current varsity team and either of the two teams mentioned above. There will be four 12 minute quarters. The winner of that game will play the remaining team. There will be hotdogs and hamburgers on the grill as well as soda and chips for sale.
The cost to play will be $5 per player. You may contact the school at 582-3341 or email Ed La Course at firstname.lastname@example.org or Lanette at email@example.com or 582-3659 for registration and information.
Remember; We are the Huskies, the mighty, mighty, Huskies Also, Lanette was able to dig out some old Huskies uniforms.
