Moriah and Ticonderoga posted victories in Northern Football Conference action last weekend.
Moriah 35, St. Lawrence 0
Moriah defeated St. Lawrence, 35-0, Sept. 22, once again posting a shutout.
The Vikings, undefeated at 4-0, not allowed a point in their last three games. They have out-scored rivals 108-7 on the season.
Dominating from the start, Moriah got a 40-yard touchdown run a minute into the contest.
Justin Slattery scored on a 30-yard gallop a few minutes later.
Jim Carlson hauled in a 20-yard scoring pass from Tyler Blaise in the second period as Moriah led at the half, 21-0.
Carlson added a 28-yard TD run in the third period and Blaise tallied on a four-yard run in the final quarter for the final margin.
Mike Brassard booted the PAT after each touchdown.
Nick Slattery paced the Viking offense, running for 77 yards. Karkoski added 53 yards.
Ticonderoga 31, Seton 13
Ticonderoga fell behind early, then exploded to beat Seton Catholic, 31-13, Sept. 21.
Trailing 7-0, the Sentinels mustered a long scoring drive in the second quarter. Josh Huestis capped the drive with a three-yard TD run. Krys Ross then an for the conversion and an 8-7 lead.
Ticonderoga made it 15-7 as Ross scored on an 11-yard run and matt Streeter booted the extra point.
After Seton answered with a TD to make it 15-13, Ti ended the half with a 42-yard field goal by Streeter for an 18-13 edge at the intermission.
The Sentinels dominated the second half.
Ross broke free for a 29-yard touchdown run early in the final quarter to make it 24-13.
Steven Lenhart then capped the scoring with a 16-yard run for a TD. Streeters extra point made it a 31-13 game.
Huestis ran for 70 yards and Ross added 69 for the balanced Sentinel attack.
