TICONDEROGA Stars of yesteryear will be enshrined in the Ticonderoga Sentinel Booster Club Sports Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 5.
Darren DAttilio (class of 1991), Sean McLaughlin (class of 1992), Beth Jzyk MacKenzie (class of 1996) and Susan Pocket-Tucker, (class of 1997) will be inducted along with the Ti High 1960 football team.
There will be a dinner in honor of the inductees at 5:15 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, on Montcalm Street. The actual induction ceremony will be held at halftime of the Ti-Saranac football game.

As a senior, DAttilio led Ti to the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference and Section VII Class C baseball championships and Ticonderogas first-ever appearance in the state championship tournament. As the teams number one pitcher, DAttilio compiled a 9-2 record with two saves and led the team with a .427 batting average.
DAttilio also led the Sentinel bowling team to a sectional championship during his senior year. During the season his high game was 277 and high series was 767. He also qualified for the state championship tournament as a sophomore, junior and senior.
Following high school graduation DAttilio was a pitcher for the College of Saint Rose baseball team. He graduated in 1995 with a bachelors degree in math and physical science.
DAttilio is now the associate athletic director for development at the University of Texas at El Paso. DAttilio joined the UTEP athletics staff in 1998; hes a member of the athletic department senior staff and is responsible for all development operations. He is also the sport administrator for the softball and rifle programs.
DAttilio is engaged to be married to Lisa Campos and has a son, Evan, 11, and two daughters, Lauren, 7, and Mara, 4.
