In the past year, the Health Committee assisted 29 families with 57 children.

Noee, a 2nd grader in Lake George School and her 2-year-old brother Cooper Nadler of Lake George, were the big winners of the $10,000 first prize. Their parents plan to establish a college fund for the children. The balance of $5,000 is retained by the church to help with repairs and upkeep of the church buildings and grounds.

This is the seventh year the Church of St. Sacrement sponsored the lottery. Only 200 tickets are sold during July and August. Tickets are $100 each. Sometimes groups of people pool funds to purchase tickets, such as the seven employees of House of Scotts were winners in 2005.
