On the 23rd, there will also be a brunch at the Order of Eastern Star Hall in Ellenburg Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The cost for adults will be $7 and meals for children younger than 12 will cost $3.50.

On the 26th, there will be a job fair from 4-8 p.m. at the Comfort Inn, sponsored by the Plattsburgh North Country Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the Harvest Moon Celebration will be held from 3-6 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene, 187 Broad St., Plattsburgh. This is a green market and will include fresh foods and holiday gift ideas.

On Oct. 6 and 7, the Champlain Valley Quilters Guild of New York will hold their 2007 show at Bailey Avenue School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost is $5. The area is handicap-accessible and the show will include new and antique quilts, a raffle quilt, demonstrations, a merchants mall, a silent auction, refreshments and snack bar. I know the chairman of the event for this year, Bettie Lawrence, and a ton of work goes into this show.

On Sept. 29, a "Meet the Cardinals Mens Soccer Team" event will be held. The game against Oswego begins at 3 p.m. On Oct. 6, "Meet the Cardinal Womens Team" will be held when PSUC takes on Oneonta State at 1 p.m. Both events are sponsored by the Clinton County Youth Bureau. Autographs will be available after the games and teams are encouraged to wear their team jerseys. Call 565-4750.

Clinton Community College Alumni Homecoming will be held this Saturday, Sept. 22, and includes mens and womens soccer games at 1 and 3 p.m. There will also be childrens face painting, picnic and live music by the Blind Pig Blues Band from 4:30-6:30 p.m. There will also be an art exhibition by ADK photographer Joanne Kennedy, "Call of the Loon," in the Alumni Art gallery from 12-7 p.m. For more information, visit www.clinton.edu/alumni .
