Johnsburg Fish & Game hosts Open House

With a roster of 80 members, consisting of residents and nonresidents, the club remains thankful to the select few who remain actively committed to its efforts.

Buck and Evie Goodspeed are responsible for the existence of the club today, Jones said. Theyre the ones who have been keeping it going for the last 20 years.

Beyond his local involvement with the Johnsburg Fish & Game Club, Jones also represents the area by serving on the Warren County Conservation Council and Adirondack Conservation Council. On September 22 he will join other area representatives in the celebration of National Hunting and Shooting Day by participating in an educational event slated for the Dicks Sporting Goods vestibule, located in the Queensbury Aviation Mall.

At this point in my life Im just doing it for the kids, Jones said. To get some interest in shooting and to preserve the Second Amendment.

For further information, contact Buck Goodspeed at 518-251-2762.
