Bolton Landing

Mother nature is sending a signal that fall is coming by changing the color of the leaves. Some trees have already started to lose the chlorophyll that gives the leaves their green color. Leaves are nature's food factories. Chlorophyll is what gives plants their green color and the process is starting to shut down already for this season. Soon the mountains surrounding the lake will be bathed in brilliant color.

Vote Sept. 18
The primary vote this year is on Tuesday, Sept. 18 from noon to 9 p.m. in the town hall. Candidates are competing in races for supervisor, two town Board seats and town justice. Also on the ballot in Bolton will be the race for sheriff. The primary could be the final election in some races as some candidates will not appear on the November ballot unless they win in September.
