Republican primary
Polls are open in Thurman from noon until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 for the primary election. All voters registered to a political party are urged to come out and vote.
Anyone over 18 has until Oct. 12 to vote in the November General election. Call for information at 761-6459.
The Thurman landfill summer hours end on Sept. 28, after which it will be open only on Saturday and Sunday.
Quilt
Would you like to make a quilt for your home? The quilting group meets on Friday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall.
