Join the fight against Breast Cancer with Making Strides Walk

INDIAN LAKE The 7th Anniversary Satellite Walk of the American Cancer Societys Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is returning to Hamilton County on Sept. 23. Join the fight in Indian Lake by walking to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer.

The event is a non-competitive three-mile walk. Registration begins at 1 p.m. at Byron Park and the walk begins at 1:30 p.m.

It has Hope Lodges in New York City, Rochester, Buffalo and around the country for women being treated for breast cancer to stay, with a caregiver, for free while undergoing treatment.
