Indian/Long Lake ladies have experience, skill

INDIAN LAKE Indian Lake Central School girls soccer, led by Coach Gina Pellettier, will be fielding a varsity and modified soccer team this season. They look forward to an active and exciting schedule through the 2007/2008 school year.

We have quite a few seniors on the team, says Pellettier. I anticipate that our defense, especially, will be strong with experience and skill. Our forwards are young, but they have strong ball control skills and had great scoring records at the modified level.

With a focus on training, Pellettier is confident that time spent in practice will yield winning results on the field. During preseason we focused mainly on fitness, ball control, and communication. I am excited to see these components coming together, which should be evident at games, notes Pellettier.

This seasons (Indian Lake) varsity team will be joined by five members from Long Lake. Combining their efforts with the Indian Lake Girls will be: Hannah Lamos, Elizabeth Hamden, Kaylie Miller, Colleen Nerny, and Sierra Olbert.

Long Lake Central School will also be fielding a modified girls soccer team.
