Adeline G. Alexander

CHILI Adeline G. Alexander, Chili, New York, passed away Thursday August 30, 2007.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa on October 25, 1925 to Emil and Beatrice Grotticeli who preceded her in death. She is also predeceased by her husband, James C. Alexander, Jr. in 1992. Survived by three children, James C. Alexander III of Jamestown, NY, Daniel E. Alexander and wife Gayle, of Elizabethtown, NY, and Patricia Briars and her husband James of Rochester, NY; Five grandchildren, Daniel Alexander, Jr. of Keeseville, NY, Jennifer Grosch and husband Gail and James Alexander IV and wife Heather of Warren, Pa, and Victoria and Matthew Briars of Rochester, NY; two great-grandchildren Noel Alexander and Emily Grosch of Warren, Pa; two sisters Grace Cheiffe of North Port, Fl and Florence Miley and husband Jerome of Pittsburgh, Pa; Also survived by her special companion, Vincent Capotorto of Greece, NY.

Adeline was an active member of St. Pius the Tenth Church in Chili, NY. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, collecting antiques and an occasional visit to the casino.

Friends and family celebrated her life at a Funeral Mass, held Saturday September 1, 2007 at St. Pius the Tenth. Interment was made next to her husband James, Jr. at St. Pius X Cemetery.
