Head Start receives donation

TICONDEROGA ACAP Head Start Home Based program was recently presented with $200 by a group of Ticonderoga Middle School seventh grade students.

As part of their community services class, the girls baked and sold cookies to raise funds and awareness in their community.

Dave Bevins of Head Start said the agency is grateful for the donation, which will be used toward the purchase an alphabet rug for the site.

Head Start is a comprehensive program, designed to provide a variety of experiences for children within their community, home and at Head Start sites. The program also provides resources for parents to establish and achieve their goals. We recruit and enroll children all year long. If interested, please contact the site or call the main office at 873-3207.
