BURLINGTON -- Officials from around the state recently visited 21 sites that may play host to the Vermont State Hospital. The Department of Mental Health said that one option would be to build replacement space at Fletch Allen Health Care in Burlington, Rutland Regional Medical Center and at a new facility in Waterbury. A conceptual certificate of need was granted to the state in April. The certificate required the state to review many options for replacement of the century old facility in Waterbury. Legislators will here analysis from officials next month.
